Strategic Impact | United Way of Steele County

Applications for Strategic Impact program/project funding can be made year-round by nonprofit organizations serving Steele County, for consideration at the monthly Strategic Impact Committee meeting.

Organizations must complete the application below and logic model. United Way of Steele County funds programs, not organizations, and does not fund religious instruction or provide capital or general operating funds. We do, however, accept operating expenses, that are required to facilitate your program, to be included in your program budget.

1) What is the mission and purpose of your organization? Is your organization a 501c3 and if so, what is your EIN number?

2) What need are you attempting to solve? How was this need determined (please provide data)? How does this solution align with United Way of Steele County’s outcomes below?

3) Please provide a description of: a. the program/project, b. the population you plan to serve, c. your proposed activities, d. your anticipated measurable outcomes.

4) What is your budget for this program and how much are you asking United Way to support? How will you secure the additional funds (if applicable) for this request?

5) Is this a short-term need, or a long-term endeavor? What is your vision for sustaining this program if this is a long-term endeavor?
