1. ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed
2. ALICE earns above the poverty level, but less than the cost of basics - and often doesn't qualify for assistance.
3. ALICE is often your friend, your relative, your neighbor, or colleague.
4. ALICE is typically our essential workers. Like retail sales person, delivery driver, day care provider, etc.
5. More than 1 in 4 US households are ALICE.
6. 42% of all US households can't afford basics. (poverty + ALICE populations combined)
