Celebrating our Community Impact in 2023

Join us April 4, 2024, from 7am-8:30am at the Owatonna Country Club to celebrate everything we accomplished together in 2023!!  We raised $785,598, which will allow us to continue to support over 50 programs and services that support our friends, family, and neighbors.  With your support and the support of our corporate and foundation partners, our work addressing our communities most pressing needs will continue.  In addition to supporting the basic needs of individuals and families struggling to make ends meet, we also bring the community together to create solutions to address affordable housing, childcare shortages, equity and inclusion, and teen mental health concerns including substance use disorder and truancy.

We could not continue our work without the support of generous people like you.  This Celebration Event will give us the opportunity to celebrate a few such people including Debbie Ensley, Climate by Design - Tom and Sue Peterson, and South Central Human Relation Center – Michele Merxbauer.  We will also celebrate our Board years of service for Faizal Lakha, Rachel Peterson, and Tim Schammel, and our 2023 Community Campaign Leader the Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.

You won’t want to miss this opportunity to celebrate 2023, meet our 2024 Community Campaign Leader, and hear what we have planned for 2024.  Purchase your tickets at www.unitedwaysteelecounty.org, or call our office at 507-455-1180.  Engaging Communities, Connecting People.  We’re YOUR United Way!
