Minnesota's Charities Review Council recommends that no more than 30-35% of a non-profit's budget be spent on administration and funding costs.  In fact, the Unted Way of Steele County spends only 18 percent on these costs which is way below the industry standard.  So, $0.82 per dollar goes directly to programs that help local people.
